Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Version 1.0

HiMi helps you understand yourself through your birth date and name. That information is yours, so this page explains what HiMi collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and what you can do about it.

Some features described here (accounts, family profiles, Ask Mi) are still being built and will open before 31 December 2026. HiMi does not collect data for a feature until that feature is live.

The short version

  • Without an account, you can see your map right away. Your name, birth date and other profile details are used to calculate in your browser and are not sent to HiMi's servers. Only the letters you type into the birth place box are sent to HiMi's server, to suggest places.
  • With an account, HiMi stores the profiles you create so you can come back to them, track your actions and ask Mi.
  • HiMi does not sell your data, does not run ads, and does not let anyone train AI on your data.
  • You can view, edit and delete your data at any time. Deleting your account deletes everything.
  • Your data is stored on Google servers in the United States. Questions to Mi are processed by Anthropic in the United States.

1. Who is responsible for your data

HiMi (himipath.com) decides why and how your personal data is processed on this site.

For anything about your data, write to admin@himipath.com.

2. Before you sign in

You enter your name, birth date, sex and, if you like, your birth time and place. HiMi calculates your BaZi, numerology and astrology chart in your browser. This information is not sent to HiMi's servers and HiMi does not keep it.

Your browser keeps this information (and the actions you tick off this week) so you don't have to type it again; clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

As you type in the birth place box, the letters are sent to HiMi's server to suggest places (from a GeoNames list HiMi keeps), without your name or birth date. HiMi does not pass them to an outside service and does not keep them, apart from the server's technical logs, kept for 30 days (section 8).

To understand how HiMi is used, HiMi keeps anonymous counts of a few actions: which pages are visited, which buttons are pressed, whether a chart was viewed, whether it was for yourself, your child or someone else, the age group (for example 25–34), sex, and whether a birth time and place were given. These counts use no cookies, never include your name, birth date, time or place, and carry no identifier, so HiMi cannot tell whose visit was whose.

TechnicalAccess times, browser type, abuse-prevention signalsKeep the service safe and fix problems

HiMi does not ask for ID numbers, photos of documents, bank details, your current location or your contacts.

Legal bases. HiMi relies on the agreement you accept when you create an account to provide the service you ask for; on your separate consent for optional purposes (keeping Ask Mi history, Google Analytics); and on its legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Each optional purpose is asked for separately. Saying no to one does not stop you using the rest.

4. Family profiles and children

You can create up to 10 profiles for yourself and people close to you.

  • Family members aged 16 or over: when you save someone's profile, you promise (under the Terms of Use) that you have told them and they agree. HiMi doesn't ask you to tick a separate box.
  • Children under 16: a child's profile is meant for their parent or legal guardian; saving it confirms you act in that role. HiMi doesn't ask you to tick a separate box. Readings are written for the parent and do not forecast a child's individual years.
  • Partner and marriage readings: available only to account holders aged 18 or over.

Only you can see the profiles you create. HiMi never makes a profile public. A family member who wants to see, correct or delete their information can ask you or write to admin@himipath.com directly.

You must be 16 or over to hold an account, and you confirm this when you create it. If HiMi learns that an account belongs to someone under 16, it will delete the account.

5. Ask Mi and AI

Ask Mi runs on Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you ask a question, HiMi sends Anthropic your question, a summary of the relevant profiles' maps, and the reading passages needed to answer. Your email and account ID are not sent.

  • Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic may not train its models on this data.
  • Answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Mi does not give medical, financial or legal advice.
  • HiMi does not need sensitive information such as health, religion or political views. Please don't include it in your questions.
  • Conversation history is kept only if you agree. You can delete any conversation or turn history off at any time.
  • HiMi does not read your Ask Mi history unless you ask for support and give permission, or the law requires it.

6. Cookies and analytics

HiMi uses the cookies and browser storage it needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and cookie choice, and preventing abuse.

Google Analytics runs only if you agree, to show which pages are useful. If you say no, everything still works. See the Cookies page for details, and change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

7. Service providers and international transfers

HiMi uses a few providers to run the service. They handle data only on HiMi's instructions and under their data protection agreements.

Google AnalyticsAnalytics, only with your consentUnited States

Because these servers are in the United States, your data is stored and processed outside Vietnam. HiMi only picks providers that commit to protecting data by contract.

9. Your rights

You can:

  • know what HiMi does with your data (this page);
  • see and correct your data;
  • receive a copy of your data (sent by email to admin@himipath.com);
  • delete a profile, a conversation, or your whole account;
  • withdraw consent for any purpose;
  • object to or ask HiMi to restrict processing;
  • complain to a data protection authority. In Vietnam this is the Ministry of Public Security. In the EU or UK, it is your local supervisory authority.

Most of this you can do yourself under Account. If you write to admin@himipath.com (including to ask for a copy of your data), HiMi replies within 2 working days and handles your request within the time the law sets.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

10. Security

  • Connections are always encrypted (HTTPS). Data stored with Google is encrypted.
  • Each account can read only its own data, and these access rules are tested automatically.
  • Secret keys are kept in Google Secret Manager, never in the source code.
  • Admin accounts use two-factor authentication. Only HiMi's owner has admin access.
  • If a data breach happens, HiMi acts on it straight away, tells you if it may affect you, and notifies the authorities when the law requires.

11. What HiMi will not do

  • Sell, rent or trade personal data.
  • Run ads or share data with advertisers.
  • Let anyone train AI on your data.
  • Make your profiles or maps public.

12. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, HiMi updates the date and version at the top. If a change affects your rights, HiMi tells you in the app first and asks for your consent again where needed.
